Snowed in scavenger hunt

We find ourselves trapped in the house during the winter. This can have a negative effect on us. I have noticed that my children watch more TV then I think is healthy.

This morning I wrote a list of things around the house that are the color red. I told the children to find them and take pictures of each item.  This took about forty minutes and kept them happy and entertained.

In Pinterest you can find many ideas on how to keep children entertained and involved in constructive activities.
